2024 CSA Membership Agreement

This is a CSA Membership agreement between:

Sandy Meadows Flower and Tree Farm, LLC (herein referred to as “Farm”)

and yourself (herein referred to as “Member”) 

Terms

Sandy Meadows Flower and Tree Farm, LLC will provide one (1) floral arrangement to all its CSA members bi-weekly, beginning with the first main season blooms, either end of June or beginning of July 2024 through end of September or beginning of October 2024:

BiWeekly CSA Options

  • 8 Bouquets - First Blooms - This will be done in exchange for a contribution of $200 ($25 each arrangement). Will begin with the first week of main season blooms.

  • 6 Bouquets - This will be done in exchange for a contribution of $150 ($25 each arrangement). Will begin the following week (after the 8 Bouquets - First Blooms begins).

Payment

Member’s CSA membership is to be paid in full no later than March 31, 2024. Member understands that unless paid in full, you will not a member and will not receive arrangements.

Early Bird Discount

Receive a 20% discount if paid in full by March 15, 2024.  Contribution total after the discount will be:

$160 for 8 Bouquets

$120 for 6 Bouquets

Refund

We do not offer refunds.  A CSA is about commitment to a local farmer and our commitment to you.  If Member has made a purchase and no longer wants to receive your share, you can donate your arrangement to a local charity or organization of your choice.

Schedule of Pick-Ups

Pick-ups will be every other week. Dates to be determined and will be communicated based on first main season blooms. The main season will start with the first blooms available either end of June or beginning of July 2024 through end of September or beginning of October 2024.

Member expectations

1.     Member agrees to arrive at pick-up location during the designated time window or give advanced notification if unable to do so.

2.     If Member does not pick-up during the designated time window and does not contact Farm to make alternate arrangements before my pick-up time, the arrangement will be forfeited as a result. In these instances, Farm will donate the arrangement to a charity or organization of their discretion.

3.     Member understands that the arrangement is a living, breathing, entity and that vase life is not guaranteed on any material or the arrangement as a whole. More information on the care of the arrangement to ensure the longest possible vase life will be available at the time of pick-up.

4.     Member understands that the arrangement will be composed of a variety of seasonally available materials and that no specific flowers, colors, or varieties can be promised or guaranteed.

5.     Member understands that none of the arrangements nor the materials therein are intended for edible or topical use.  Member further understands that materials may be irritating, toxic, or poisonous if ingested by humans or animals, and agrees to hold Sandy Meadows Flower and Tree Farm LLC free of liability. If Member has any questions, Member will ask them at time of pick-up.

6.     If anything doesn’t meet expectations, Member will give Farm the opportunity to correct it by providing another available item at no cost to Member.  Farm will do their best to address any questions.

7.     Member understands that by becoming a member, they are sharing in the risk and rewards of the growing season. Member realizes there is an element of unpredictability with pests, disease, weather, acts of God and other unforeseen circumstances that may contribute or detract from the production of materials, and Member agrees that the arrangements may be subject to these factors. In the event of a catastrophic farm failure, Farm will do their best to adapt to the situation but there are no guarantees when it comes to farming unfortunately.

8.     Member will automatically be added to the CSA email list and promises to stay subscribed to it for their duration as a paying member of the CSA. It is very important to read the emails since it is used to communicate with the Member to inform of any changes or updates.

I have read all of the above and understand the membership agreement. I understand and agree to pay on or before above mentioned deadline and pick up my CSA arrangement biweekly during the main season. If I Do NOT pick up my arrangement on my designated day, I understand that it will NOT be held for a later date and I will be responsible for the cost. I understand that I am committed to the full length of the main season (16 weeks) and that my commitment is for the entire season. I have had the opportunity to read over the contract and ask any questions of the business prior to entering into this contract.
